Andreas Spechtl, founder of the Vienna group Ja, Panik, lives in Berlin and works with the band Die Türen and Christiane Rösinger. At HAU Hebbel am Ufer he will present his new album, created in Iran, called “Thinking About Tomorrow, and How To Build It” along with the Tehran musician Saba Alizadeh. Instrumental and spherical sounds meld effortlessly with live electronics, kamancheh (an Iranian stringed instrument), samples of Persian music instruments and field recordings from Tehran.
